About Anahí:
Anahí Acevedo has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla and a Master’s degree in Modern and Contemporary Art from the Centro de Cultura Casa Lamm. She currently serves as the Strategic Director at La Colecturía and is a doctoral candidate in Cultural Policies.
Anahí has an extensive career directing cultural institutions and designing artistic projects that focus on audience mediation and education. She has managed projects with international institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon, France; the Michelangelo Pistoletto Foundation in Italy; and 10porary Show in collaboration with the French artist ORLAN and curator Manuela Gandini.
One of her recurring practices is fostering the development of creativity in children and adolescents through sensory experiences, bringing them closer to art, and promoting reflections on the relationship between ourselves and nature, in other words, on “El Buen Vivir” (the art of living well).
