About Melissa:

Respect for nature was instilled in her while growing up near her grandparents, followed by a career in Agronomy (Agricultural Engineer specializing from the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla). When she’s not taking care of red Californian worms or composting, you’ll see her constantly balancing watering, insects, harvesting, and the overall health of a complex urban garden ecosystem.

She is concerned and dedicated to producing food sustainably, considering the farmer, the land, the consumer, and the community.
